This is my ‘About Me’ page, as you may have noticed; but what about me? In its simplicity, I can effortlessly describe myself with an infinite capacity of joy and an uncanny ability to bring the best out in others around me. I never make a person feel insufficient; it is a goal, I find, to make every person I encounter to feel important in their own way. Everybody has a story, I can only hope to be a piece of their many plethora of stories, with that, leaving a positive one.
Immediately after graduating from Texas Tech University, I had the divine pleasure to travel the tropic islands with my unbelievable grandmother. We spent over a month travelling to the Hawaiian islands: Hilo, Honolulu, Nawiliwili, and Lahaina. Along with travelling to Tahitian and Samoan islands: Pago Pago, Apia, Bora Bora, Moorea, and Papeete.
After all of my travelling, I relocated myself from Lubbock to Austin and currently have a full-time job working for Austex Heating and Air Conditioning Services as their creative designer. I designed their logo, business cards, Letterheads, embroidery t-shirt designs, newspaper advertisements, and post cards.
I decided to leave the ‘about me’ post from what I wrote a couple years ago. I cant bring myself to delete it while I am updating my current About Me page. It shows myself how I have grown to the person I am today.
A lot happens in my life. I don’t just go to school and work. Yes, I have a life — a busy one at that — a lot happens in my day that is not exactly on my agenda. I feel as though I’m always running to something; school bus, class, work, sorority event, or God knows what else comes my way, I’m always in a hurry.
It feels good to get my voice out there. I’m one student out of hundreds in my college and one student of thousands at my university. In case you don’t know already I’m in my third year at Texas Tech University ( transferred from community college, so technically I’m a senior).
I am also a proud active member of Kappa Delta Sorority. Many have an obscured point of view about girls in sororities. Before you judge my character, let me just tell you this, it has made my experience at Tech a memorable one. Some say, “I don’t pay for my friends.”
Well, neither do I, we pay our bills for our Kappa Delta house. I’m guessing you pay your bills too? Granted, there are some girls who do obscure a sorority girls reputation. *see site below*
